My boys want to be famous! They have been BEGGING me to put something about them on my blog. I told them my blog was NOT famous, but they think it is especially when I link things to Facebook because in their mind EVERYONE in the world is on Facebook.
Anyway, my 10 year old (Timmy) and 8 year old (Chandler) boy have been thinking of things they could do which I would actually post on my blog. They finally decided to have their own “Gardening/Homesteading Made Easy” series. They said they wanted to make videos of all the things they are doing in the garden which are so easy, but others find difficult or just do not know how to do. Therefore, their first installment for the series is how they make their own compost tea! They made a cute video, but I am having trouble loading it. Hopefully, I will figure it out for the remainder of the series! Sorry! Below is their recipe!
Recipe for Compost Tea
Fill 5 gallon bucket with manure to 1 gallon mark. Add four gallons of water. Stir. Let set for two days. Pour on Plants. You can also make it stronger by adding more manure and less water. You can use any kind of manure. We used goat manure which is one of the best manures to use for fresh fertilizer.

And then you do what with that tea? Oh, yeah, water the plants...whew!
