Free You Tube Videos for the Home

As a mom of seven with number eight on the way, I am always looking for ways to save especially on learning new things! You Tube is a great source for finding FREE videos for your home! Whether it be homemaking, homesteading, homeschooling, etc. you can find videos to learn just about anything on You Tube. You also have to be very careful of the things on You Tube which are NOT appropriate for you, your home, or anyone for that matter. Anyway, below are a few of my You Tube Favorites which I hope will help you as well!

Moms Into Fitness- There are many videos by Lindsay Brin for exercising during pregnancy as well as getting your body back after pregnancy. As always, get permission from your doctor or midwife before beginning any exercise routine whether you are pregnant or not! Lindsay also has a blog and a Moms Into Fitness website. On the Moms Into Fitness website, you can sign-up for four free videos which will correspond to the stage you are during pregnancy or post partum.

Connecting Threads- There are many videos for quilting and sewing on you tube. Connecting threads is only one channel available. Currently, my daughter and I are learning English Paper Piecing. Whether it in on Connecting Threads channel or some other channel, you can find nearly any tutorial for any sewing or crafting skill you may want to learn or need help refining!

Craig Duncan Fiddle- Currently, my oldest son who is ten and LOVES fiddling, is learning new fiddling techniques and songs through Craig Duncan on you tube! IT has been a great way to keep up lessons during our transition stage until we can find a teacher in our new location! I have been searching individually for piano tutorials for my daughter, but have not been as successful. Fortunately, her daddy and I can play piano, and can help her when she needs it! There are many other resources for homeschoolers as well!

Homesteading- I also do individual searches for anything I may want help with or learn how to do concerning homesteading. Currently, I am not doing much as far as the homestead, but there are a few homesteading videos which may be of interest to readers. Country Grain Mill-Bike Powered (We are thinking of trying this as we have a grinder like the one in the video.), Ivan Kinsman’s Channel has lots of great videos on how to Homesteading, and Homsteading Prepper’s Library Series from Michigansnowpony

Gluten Free Tips with Amy- Amy has lots of great Gluten Free tips and recipes on her channel! There are many more recipes and tips for Gluten Free lifestyle on You Tube as well!

These are only a few of our favorite You Tube videos which we are using now or have used in the past or will use in the future. Please do not forget what a wonderful resource You Tube can be. Just so you know, I get NO compensation for mentioning You Tube. I just wanted to pass the message along to my readers in hopes to help them!
