Thanks to a very nice customer service person at the Kroger Customer Service number, I will not be boycotting Kroger. She was nice to answer my questions and fix my concerns with my ecoupons.
Thank you so much, Jennifer!
She also informed me of a few more things regarding their coupon policy. I had been told at two different Kroger stores I could no longer use coupons on manager’s special items. I could not find this information on their coupon policy on line. She said each individual coupon policy varies according to the managers of the store. However, there are a few things which are standard to every store. You can find the standard information below. The two stores where I was told I could no longer use my coupons with manager’s specials were the Harriman/Mid-Town Kroger and the Farragut Kroger. It is a real bummer! I go by the Cedar Bluff Kroger each week as well, but seldom shop there. I will have to find out their coupon policy as well. If you know anything about your local Kroger, please let me know. With the coupon changes at Kroger, I am finding I can get things cheaper or equal price at Ingles and/or UGO without the hassle of digital coupons and all the other coupon rules. Are you finding deals other places than Kroger? Let me know!
Standard Coupon Rules for Kroger Stores in the Atlanta Area: (from email I was sent by the customer service representative)
Our coupon policy varies by division. The policy for stores in your area (Atlanta) is as follows. Please note that this policy is our most current; however it is subject to change without notice.
The store manager has the right to accept, decline or limit the quantity of coupons or items used or purchased in a single transaction, by a single customer, or in a single day.
Double coupons:
- Manufacturer coupons $.50 or less will be “Doubled” when a Plus Card is used.
Manufacturer coupons:
- Manufacturer coupons valued at $0.51 or greater will be redeemed at face value.
Ø This does not apply to “free,” Kroger, Catalina, Retail Food Store coupons, Electronic Coupons on the Kroger Plus card, or items prohibited by law.
Pharmacy coupons:
- Competitor pharmacy coupons are accepted up to a limit of $500 in a year.
- If a customer can find a lower CASH price for a prescription at a different pharmacy, we will match that CASH price.
Ø This price matching does not apply to any prescriptions purchased with insurance alone or insurance with co-pay. The customer would have to pay the entire CASH price on their own.
- LCM or Competitor Coupons may not be used in conjunction with our $4 Generic Program.
General coupon policy:
- Expired manufacturer coupons are not accepted.
- There is a limit of one (1) manufacturer coupon or electronic coupon per item (they do not stack)
The amount refunded cannot exceed the price of the item.
Let me know the policies of your Kroger.
