50% off Tennessee River Boat Company Lunch or Dinner Cruise

Today’s Groupon deal for Knoxville is for $30 for $60 toward a Lunch or Dinner Cruise from the Tennessee Riverboat Company!
I went on a dinner cruise on the Watts Bar Belle in December. The food was great, and the entertainment was okay. I think it would have been more fun in the daylight hours. It was my husband’s company’s Christmas Dinner! Anyway, these cruises are not cheap! If you are ever thinking about going at anytime this year, it is a great deal!
The coupon Expires on October 4, 2011. There is a limit of one per person and one per visit. Reservations are required! Kids are welcome!
$2 Silk Brand Milk Coupon!

Log in or Register to take the 10-day Challenge with Silk brand Milk and receive a coupon for $2.00 off any Silk half gallon. Fortunately, you are not limited just to the Soy products! The almond and coconut are both approved as well.
Once you log-in or register, you should see a link to upgrade your $0.75 off coupon to $2 off coupon. You have to take a short surevey to get the coupon. I did not see this link last week when I first logged in, nor today when I first logged in. Then, I created a new account using my husband’s name and email address which allowed me to upgrade the coupon. I am not sure why it would not let me upgrade the coupon previously as everyone including those who already have an account should be able to upgrade. I have sent them an email today explaining the situation. We will see what they say in response.
Thanks to Isha for the post at KnoxMamabelle and for my friend Katherine for mentioning the deal again!

Wednesday Words of Wisdom- Sorting out Confusion

I have not had a Wednesday Words of Wisdom post in a while. I suppose I have been learning! Also, I usually do not post anything unless God has placed something on my heart. He placed something on my heart a few weeks ago, but I have been researching and sorting out my feelings in order to share the information with you accurately.
Have you ever been so filled with information from so many different sources, you just become confused? You do not know where to turn or who to believe? You do not know who to support or who has your best interest at heart?
I have recently felt this way over several issues! I am not going to share all of those issues with you in this post, but I will share a little now and much more later! Although, first, I want to share how I have overcome these confusing times.
1 Corinthians 14:33 has been a big comfort which states, "God is NOT the author of confusion, but of peace!"
I have been seeking HIS direction in sorting out all my confusion which has helped tremendously. I still have a lot to learn and a lot I want to be able to understand! I have continued in prayer and seeking God's wisdom in allowing me to see through these matters. I am also comforted in knowing "my God shall supply all (my) need(s) according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19
One of the major things which has been a sort of confusion to me is knowing which companies to support and which companies not to support. Unfortunately, there are those monopolizing companies which are out to shut down small farmers as well as organic farmers/growers. I recently discovered many companies which I have supported in the past have recently been purchased by one of the companies which does NOT support the same values I have! I plan on sharing more details with you in another post as to which companies have been purchased and which companies are "safe" in my book from which to purchase! God is clear we should be honest and fair in our business dealings (Proverbs 11:11, Deuteronomy 25:13) I believe it also refers to those with who we conduct business (Proverbs 20:8). I know I do not want to support a business who is not going to treat me fairly, be honest, and have my best interest at heart! I have boycotted businesses in the past for not being honest, fair, or treating me with respect (Staples, UPS, and others I will not support!). Does that mean every business I support will be a Christian business? Unfortunately, the answer is no. However, I have been treated better by some non-Christians than I have Christian companies! Horrible and Unfortunate, I know! Also, do I expect only Christians to read my blog? Of course not! There are people I know who read my blog and have been following since I first began two years ago who are not Christians!
I do want to ask your forgiveness for supporting companies in the past who I thought were legitimate and had similar values as I do, and were safe to purchase from as far as gardening and family go! I recently began trying to add some monetizing units to my blog. Before a few weeks ago, I was not making any money from my blog and everything I posted was on my own free will. Now, I am sent several emails each day with deals to share with readers which will help my blog to make money. However, I still feel the need to pray over these posts and these deals to make sure they are best for my readers as well as deals I will support and partake of my self. One reason I stopped Dollar General, Family Dollar, and Save A Lot posts is they seldom have any deals which I will actually use my self. Not that I do not ever shop in those stores as I do from time to time, but I did not like placing their deals on my site as if I was in support of their products. So, anyway, another confusing time has been deciding which deals to post and which not to post. If we did not need the extra income (and it is VERY little extra), I would not even try to make money from the blog. I appreciate you clicking on ads or links from time to time as every little bit is helping our family right now! However, I want to earn that help by being a help to those who are reading my blog and who are helping me and my family.
If you feel there is a company which I support from this day forward which is not in standards with what you feel I should be supporting, please let me know. While I try to support local businesses as much as possible, sometimes there are items I may need which are not available in my local area. Therefore, I will purchase online. However, I still try to support the small businesses even when purchasing online. The deals I post are deals I hope will benefit you and your family, and are usually going to be deals my family will partake of as well!
A few more verses to read about how to conduct business:
Seek God's Direction on How to Handle Your Business 1 Samuel 21:2
When your honest in your dealings you will be rewarded for your service Joshua 2:14 , Psalm 112:5
Be Faithful in your business Romans 12:11
Also, an excerpt from the FFA (Future Farmers of America) opening and closing ceremonies always sticks in my mind when dealing with relationship in all walks of life, "As we mingle with others, let us be diligent in labor, just in our dealings, courteous to everyone, and above all, honest and fair in the game of life."
I know I have been vague about some things, but I will share more details at another time. Please know I do make mistakes on a daily basis, but I always try to admit it as soon as I realize the mistakes I have made. Thank you so much for reading my blog! I hope I have been as much of a blessing to my readers as my readers have been to me!

Kroger Organic, Natural, and Gluten Free Deals and Coupon Match-Ups March 27-April 2
I finally realized why so many of my readers want to read the grocery deals from my site instead of others! Do you want to know the reason? Some of the other sites leave out many of the Organic, Natural, and Gluten Free Sale Items! Well, I cannot promise I will get them posted each week, but I will try! Below are the Organic, Natural, and Gluten Free advertised deals for Kroger this week. Rememeber to look for closeouts and Manager’s Specials which will vary by store.
Also, Kroger is no longer allowing the use of paper coupons and ecoupons. You can read more details from Knoxville on A Dime. Their registers are actually updated, and will not allow a paper coupon to go through for an item which an ecoupon has already been used. Bummer!
