- Hard Boiled Eggs
In case you do not know how to boil eggs, I will give instructions.
Place eggs in large/deep stock pot. Fill with water to cover eggs at least an inch. Place on stove eye and bring to a boil. Turn off heat (I remove mine from the heat) and cover eggs. Allow to sit in hot water for 18 minutes. When 18 minutes is up, place pot in sink and run cold water into it. Add ice as well to cool them off. You can either refrigerate them or peel them as soon as they are cool. The cooler they are the easier they are to peel. I also peel them under running water. I am not the best egg peeler in the world and have tried every trick I have been told. My children peel without problems. I think I am just egg peeling illiterate or something like that!
- Peanut Butter and Jelly Tacos
Spread Peanut Butter and Jelly on Tortillas. Sprinkle with Cinnamon if desired. Roll up or fold in half.
- Baked Chicken
I have a whole chicken I purchased from Ingles when it was on sale. Thaw the chicken. I wash mine too. Remove neck and any other items if there are any (heart, liver, etc.). Pat dry. Rub with melted butter or olive oil. Sprinkle with Garlic Salt. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 1-2 hours or until done and thermometer reads 180 in the thickest parts of the breast and thigh.
