Amelia Rose was born on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 8:05 pm. She weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. I always take a week off when I have a baby. My husband takes a week off and takes care of all the children and other household chores while I rest and relax with the new baby! It is a nice vacation for me and usually the only one I get! :) I have a lot I want to do on the blog, but may not get it accomplished very quickly as I have a new baby as well as continuing homeschooling with the children in addition to caring for all my other household and farm duties. Please keep reading as I hope to have many new and exciting things to share with my readers!
