I recently posted about my totally free Kroger shopping trip last week during the mega deals. I was asked to scan a copy of my receipt, but it is just not legible enough to read. Therefore, I am going to attempt an itemization. I hope this post helps. Please feel free to ask any other questions. I am relatively new to couponing as well and still have a lot to learn! I did not give my Kroger card until after my groceries were totaled and I gave him the $5/50! Otherwise, I would not have been able to use it after the Mega deal savings and the ecoupons were deducted.

**If you add my total for which I still owed on items after itemizing the coupons, Kroger savings,and Mega deal savings it comes to $5.24. However, I also used the $5/$50 coupon and had $1.39 in overage from coupons! Thus making my grand total $0! The tax at the bottom of my receipt has $0 and the balance has $0! When I add up all of my savings mentioned on the bottom of the receipt I get $96.50 which is where I get the total for the amount I saved. **
**I usually pay tax at Walgreens, but seldom do with CVS. I am not sure why I was not charged tax either, but I am not complaining!**
I hope I have helped those of you who have asked me questions. You may not always have a $0 total. In fact, I was not expecting one, but was expecting it to be fairly low. If anyone else has any insight, I would love to hear it! As I said, I am learning too!
